Commercial Insurance Built Around Your Business

The right policy combines property and liability coverage in one package, easier to manage and more affordable than piecing it together yourself.

Insurance For Life helps Miami and Davie business owners find commercial coverage that protects what they’ve built. That includes workers’ compensation, which covers medical care and lost income if an employee is hurt on the job, protecting both your team and your business.

Coverage We Offer

  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Commercial Property Insurance
  • Commercial Auto Insurance
  • Business Owner Policy (BOP)
  • Bonds

Two of these have a page of their own, because there is more to explain than a bullet allows. See surety bonds if a license or a construction contract is requiring you to get bonded, and workers’ compensation if you need coverage for your employees, including through the FWCJUA when no standard carrier will write you.

On commercial auto specifically, we are licensed in Florida, Indiana, and Texas, so a fleet that crosses those state lines does not have to be split between agencies.

Common Commercial Insurance Questions

Yes, if you meet the state’s employee thresholds. Florida requires workers’ compensation coverage for construction businesses with one or more employees (including owners in most cases), non-construction businesses with four or more employees, and agricultural employers with six or more regular employees or twelve or more seasonal workers.

A BOP bundles the coverage most small businesses need, general liability and commercial property, into a single policy, usually at a lower combined cost than buying each separately. It’s a common starting point for retail shops, offices, and other small operations.

If your business gives advice or provides a professional service, insurance, consulting, accounting, and similar fields, professional liability (errors and omissions) coverage protects you against claims that your advice or service caused a client a financial loss. General liability doesn’t cover this kind of claim.

Usually not once a vehicle is used primarily for business, owned by the company, or used for deliveries, ride-share, or hauling equipment. Personal auto policies typically exclude business use beyond an occasional commute, so a dedicated commercial auto policy is the safer, compliant choice.
